Mattamy Homes Ride for Brain Health

It was a day to “Remember”! On Sunday we participated in the Mattamy Homes Ride for Brain Health in support of Baycrest. The event was attended by over 10,000 riders who rode up Toronto’s own Don Valley Parkway. Our team “Friends of Liberty” have been participating in this ride for twelve years and usually the event includes some spring rain which was NOT the case this year. What a fabulous day from such a great cause.

Especially special besides the brilliant weather, was the fact that my sister Janice joined the team and proceeded to become our top fundraiser. Janice and I dedicated our ride to our mother Joyce and my family dog Tucker – both who had suffered with Dementia in their final years.
